Berbatov out, Benzema in at United :

Manchester United are reportedly looking to sell Dimitar Berbatov and Anderson to fund the purchase of
Karim Benzema.

Berbatov, purchased from Tottenham for more than £30 million last summer, has been a flop at Old Trafford.

He failed to nail down a permanent place of himself and was mainly used as a substitute throughout the season.

Anderson's season was even more pathetic and the midfielder's future is likely to be away from United. With Benzema suffering similar blues at Real Madrid, a deal could be on the cards to bring the Frenchman over as support for Wayne Rooney.

According to Spanish newspaper AS, Sir Alex Ferguson is looking to raise £24 million from the sale of the duo to finance the Benzema deal.

Berbatov has been linked to Bayern Munich while Anderson has elicited interest from both French champions Marseille as well as Paris St. Germain.
